Feed the Hungry Outreach

Restoration Church has joined forces with our local homeless shelter, Hope House. Each month we have committed to providing one complete meal for the 40 men at Hope House. By hosting a meal, we assist Hope House in being able to do more with their budget.
The meal Restoration Church provides is on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
Each month we need donations of food and paper/plastic goods, as well as volunteers that can pack and deliver the meal.
Back Sack Ministry

Back Sack Ministry

Restoration Church has been blessed since 2011 to partner with Gleaners to store and deliver Back Sack Meals to prevent hunger.
Gleaners works with our local community schools to find children that are in need of food. The children that are believed to be in need of food have letters sent home where the parent/guardian can accept or deny the weekly Back Sack Meals.  The Back Sack Meals consists of 2 breakfast, 2 lunch, 2 dinner meal items as well as 4 snacks and several drinks. The food can be eaten at room temperature or heated.
Once the school has received letters from the parent/guardian, Gleaners begins delivering Back Sack Meals to Restoration Church every month. Restoration Church stores the meals and delivers them on a weekly basis to each school. On average Restoration Church services over 150 children at several community schools. This will be our 5th School Year working with Gleaners.  To learn more about Gleaners please CLICK HERE

Thanks Giving Back Small

Annual Thanks Giving Back

Every Thanksgiving we collect specific items to bless local families with a complete Thanksgiving Dinner. This is a meal that families receive the Sunday before Thanksgiving and will feed a family of 4-6 people.
The dinner includes: Frozen Turkey, mashed potatoes, 4 cans of vegetables, dressing, rolls, pie and drink mix.
We will begin collecting items in late September throughout the month of October.
We work with 3 local elementary schools to help us know what families could use the blessing of a Thanksgiving Dinner. On average we bless 40 families every Thanksgiving.  This is a huge honor for us to do and a outreach ministry we look forward to every year.
